On the morning of September 12, Yu Minfa, President of the Fengcai Monthly Society, chaired an expanded meeting of the Society’s Council Members in the Gothenburg Hall of Taishan New World Hotel. The meeting focused on detailed arrangements for the 15th Pen Friends Gathering. More than 70 participants attended, including council members, editorial board members, honorary presidents, contributing writers, correspondents, and selected advisors from Taishan and Kaiping areas.

The meeting resolved that the 15th Pen Friends Gathering will be held on November 23 this year at the International Conference Hall of Country Garden Phoenix Hotel in Shaoguan City. The tentative theme is *Preserving Literary Heritage Through Brush and Ink, Uniting Devoted Hearts in Fengcai — Fellowship Gathering for Yu Clan Members at Home and Abroad and Contributors to Fengcai Monthly*. Eligible participants may sign up voluntarily. Attendees from Taishan and Kaiping will travel to Shaoguan as a group at their own expense.

During the meeting, several members made donations to fund the 15th Pen Friends Gathering: Vice President Yu Guofu contributed RMB 30,000; Advisor Yu Shitang donated RMB 10,000; Advisor Yu Zexin donated RMB 10,000; Standing Committee Member Yu Jingwei gave RMB 3,500; Standing Committee Member Yu Chaoyi gave RMB 3,000.

The meeting also reviewed the society’s administrative and editorial work since the start of the year, calling on all members to work together to ensure the success of the 15th fellowship event. Vice President Yu Guofu sponsored the meal expenses for this meeting.
