郑劲龙致辞并宣布活动启动。他指出，2026年是“十五五”规划开局之年，也是纵深推进“百千万工程”、实现“三年初见成效”向“五年显著变化”跨越的关键一年。当前台山正全力推进乡村特色产业培育、镇村片区组团发展、农文旅资源整合等重点工作，奋力开创城乡区域协调发展新局面。希望爱心企业、社会组织、各界人士继续发扬守望相助、热心公益的优良传统，积极投身公益慈善事业、参与“百千万工程”，支持绿美生态建设，助力台山全面推进乡村振兴、促进城乡区域协调发展。相关部门要大力宣传爱心企业、爱心人士典型事例，广泛发动社会各界力量参与；要引导社会资本通过投资兴业、订单农业、消费帮扶等方式，助力村集体经济发展壮大；要聚焦群众急难愁盼，将善款重点投向教育助学、医疗救助、养老服务等民生领域；要规范善款使用管理，强化绩效评价、审计监督、信息公开，确保每一笔善款都公开透明、用得其所。

台山历来是一座爱心之城。在市委、市政府的带动下，社会各界踊跃参与慈善事业，形成了人心向善、人人行善的良好氛围。自2010年首届“6·30”活动举办以来，海内外乡亲、爱心企业积极投身家乡公益，慷慨解囊、捐资出力，累计捐赠人民币超2.7亿元、港币超1.5亿元，一大批民生帮扶项目落地见效，城乡面貌持续改善、群众幸福感稳步提升。

At the launching ceremony, a promotional video for the 2026 "June 30" Rural Revitalization Assistance Campaign was screened. Commendations were issued to caring enterprises and individuals who had made cumulative donations of no less than 100,000 yuan over the past year. A phased on-site donation pledging session was also held. Local enterprises, social organizations, overseas Chinese compatriots and enthusiastic members of the public made generous contributions, fully demonstrating the charitable spirit and social responsibility of Taishan, a renowned hometown of overseas Chinese.

Zheng Jinlong delivered a speech and officially kicked off the campaign. He pointed out that 2026 marks the starting year of the 15th Five-Year Plan and a crucial year for Taishan to further advance the High-Quality Development Project for Counties, Towns and Villages, and achieve a leap from initial progress in three years to remarkable transformations in five years in rural revitalization. At present, Taishan is vigorously advancing key initiatives including the cultivation of characteristic rural industries, integrated development of town and village clusters, and in-depth integration of agricultural, cultural and tourism resources, striving to forge a new landscape of coordinated urban and rural development.

Zheng Jinlong called on caring enterprises, social organizations and all sectors of society to carry forward the fine tradition of mutual assistance and philanthropy, take an active part in public welfare and charitable causes, engage in the High-Quality Development Project and ecological conservation initiatives, and contribute to the comprehensive rural revitalization and coordinated urban-rural development of Taishan.

He stressed that relevant municipal departments should publicize the exemplary deeds of caring enterprises and individuals to mobilize wider social participation. Efforts should be made to guide social capital to boost the development of village collective economies through industrial investment, contract farming, consumption assistance and other diversified approaches. Charitable funds will be prioritized for people’s livelihood programs including student aid, medical assistance and elderly care services to address the most pressing needs of the public. Meanwhile, the management and use of charitable donations will be standardized with improved performance evaluation, audit supervision and information disclosure mechanisms to ensure all funds are used in a transparent, standardized and purposeful manner.

Taishan has long been known as a city of compassion and charity. Led by the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, the city has fostered a sound social atmosphere where everyone advocates and practices kindness. Since the first launch of the "June 30" Rural Revitalization Assistance Campaign in 2010, overseas villagers and caring enterprises have generously donated to support hometown development, with total contributions exceeding 270 million yuan and 150 million Hong Kong dollars. A large number of people’s livelihood assistance projects have been successfully implemented, continuously improving urban and rural landscapes and steadily enhancing people’s sense of happiness and fulfillment.
